We are very lucky in where we are situated, with lovely views of the heads of the Valleys.

Our mission is to make our school garden an intrinsic part of school life, teaching the children about sustainability and the environment, whilst making it fun and informative for them.

We have lots planned for this spring, along with our polytunnels and raised beds, we will be adding more outdoor activities that the children have been asking for.

This week we have been planting out spring onions, and getting the children involved in taking ownership of our little garden, we've had great fun

Monmouth Montessori School recently recieved an award from the Eco Schools Initiative.

This is given to schools who show initiative and skill in reducing their impact on the environment and work hard to become sustainable.
